End of summer, boho vibes wedding

Updated: Sep 8

Leah and Joe celebrated their wedding in Brookfield Hall, Wigan.

We started the morning preparations with Leah and her family, a lovely atmosphere as the stunning bridesmaids were getting their hair and makeup done, a particularly significant moment was Leah's stepdad's reaction when he saw her in her wedding dress "THAT IS FANTASTIC!" Wayne shouted, smiling cheek to cheek.

At the venue we took some shots with the groom's party, a lot of laughs in the beautiful garden, and then as if often happens, a lot of buttonhole drama!

Leah decided to make her entrance in a super cool vintage VolksWagen van, and she chose "Simply the best" as a piano version for her aisle walk. Needles to say Joe got emotional when he saw her walking towards him.

After the lovely ceremony we took advantage of the van to take lots of fun shots and the September sun was really shining for us, giving us all the flares and gifting us a truly magical end of summer afternoon. Some delicious pasties were served. During the speeches, Joe told the story of how he met with Leah, leaving a lot of people in tears of laughter listening to their first very eventful date.

Then came the time to cut the beautiful multi-tiered cake, and let loose in their first dance, "I'll be", during which they were joined by all of their guests and opened the dances.

To top it all, we had a sparklers moment that everybody loved, especially little Aliyza.

Leah and Joe are amongst my favourite couples I've worked with, they were always super kind and appreciative and sent me a message the day after the wedding to thank me for my work, which is rare but means the world.
